My name is Cristy Balch, and South County has been home for most of my life. My family has deep roots in this community, and like many local families, we've found ourselves navigating the challenges that come with aging parents while balancing work, family responsibilities, and everyday life.
Over the past several years, I became increasingly involved in helping my own parents manage appointments, paperwork, household projects, technology, bills, and the countless details that seem to multiply as life changes. What started as helping my family quickly showed me how overwhelming these responsibilities can become—not just for older adults, but for their adult children as well.
Many of us are part of the "sandwich generation," balancing our own responsibilities while also supporting aging parents. We spend hours researching options, making phone calls, coordinating services, organizing information, and trying to keep everything running smoothly. It can feel like a full-time job on top of everything else.
I started South County Senior Concierge Services because I realized so many families are facing these same challenges alone.
My goal is simple: to provide calm, practical support that helps older adults remain independent while giving families greater clarity, organization, and peace of mind. Whether it's helping organize important information, coordinating household services, navigating technology, researching options, or creating systems that make everyday life easier, I help families bring order to situations that often feel overwhelming.
